Dental Education Learning and Teaching Academy (D.E.L.T.A.) Mini-Residency Program is designed to allow the participants to develop as successful educators and leaders in the profession. Fostering a successful academic career involves recognizing the emphasis placed on three critical activities: teaching and learning, educational research, and service.
Participants of this program will receive formal training in curriculum development, assessment and pedagogy, development and implementation of an educational research project, and overview of the administrative aspects of high-class academia. During the process, the participants will join and build a networking community in educational research and leadership.
With the daily grind of operating a dental practice, maintaining an awareness of trends among colleagues in the profession can be difficult. How many general practitioners are placing implants? How many still work with amalgam? How many have adopted digital impression scanning? How many utilize websites, social media, online reviews? Inside Dentistry surveyed its readership and interviewed opinion leaders across disciplines to identify 2020’s Trends in Dentistry. From the impact of COVID-19 to developments in technology, materials science, we put our finger on the pulse of the prevailing practices, attitudes, and philosophies within the profession.
